Andy is a Level 3 Coach, who has first class experience with Essex, and represented England at U19 level. Having worked at the Essex Indoor Centre for 9 years, including helping coaching the Age Group representative squads, he is now running his own coaching business. Andy will be overseeing the organisation and running of the academy. Andy is also qualified as an ECB Assessor for Level 1 and Level 2 courses. He represented Bedfordshire in Minor Counties Cricket in 2011, and also appeared three times for the Unicorns in the CB40 professional 40 over competition.

Ian is an ECB Level 3 coach, with a remarkable coaching CV, including stints as bowling coach at both Essex and Northamptonshire at first class level, and with The Netherlands and Bangladesh at International Level, he worked with Bangladesh in the build up to the 2011 World Cup on the sub-continent, having acted in an Assistant's role with the Netherlands in the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies. He is a renowned expert in his field of biomechanics, specialising in working with young fast bowlers, it is in this capacity Ian will be helping with the Harlow Academy. Ian is now head coach of the Dhaka Gladiators in the 2012 Bangladesh Premier League.

Besides his coaching past, Ian also has significant experience in the First Class game, having represented both Essex and Nottinghamshire, which included an appearance in the Natwest One Day Final of 1985, where he famously ran out Chris Broad with a remarkable throw from the deep.

Mike is an ECB Level 3 coach, a former head-teacher with extensive knowledge of working with young cricketers at Essex County Cricket Club, including the role of Development Manager, he helped write the formal bid for the Essex Academy when it was set up several years ago. Mike's playing experience includes first class experience for Essex, and a Young England tour of India. Mike is also coach to Harlow Cricket Club's 1st XI.

Pete is the former manager of the Essex County Cricket Club indoor school, he is an ECB Level 3 coach, and is also qualified to Tutor, Assess and Verify ECB Coach Education courses (Level 1, 2 and 3), he is a specialist in Video Analysis, and working with talented young players. We also hope to use Pete's expertise in mentoring our young coaches in the near future.

Dave is an ECB Level 2 coach, who specialises in working with Wicket-Keepers, he has experience of working with the Essex Age Group Squads, and is highly regarded. He also played representative age group cricket as a young man, and is now qualified to Tutor and Assess ECB coach education courses.

Luke was elected Harlow's first team captain in 2011, an ECB Level 2 coach, with a degree in Sports Management from Loughborough, he played a significant amount of age group representative cricket in his 'Colt Cricketer' days with Essex, Luke works with young players from Hertfordshire and Essex.
