Marigolds Jazz Club, based at the Cricket Club in Old Harlow, has now been established for nearly 5 years and has built up a reputation for high quality, low cost music at a friendly venue. Such is the quality of its artists that it attracts visitors not only from the local community but throughout Essex, Hertfordshire and even London. The Club’s organisers recognised that many of their audience were also blues fans and decided to establish Marigolds Blues Club in the middle of the month to run alongside the jazz. As with the Jazz Club, Marigolds Blues Club will seek to employ only the best musicians and bands. The brilliant Split Whiskers appeared on Friday, 14th March, and will be followed by The Heaters, Bad Hair Day, The Back Porch Band Hair of the Dog and the Rockin’ Armadillos, all well respected bands. For more information on all the bands appearing at Marigolds please view the Club’s website at the address above |
